The rhythm is regular with a rate of 65/min. There are negative P waves that precede each QRS complex. No ectopic beats are noted. PR: .12 sec, QRS: .08 sec, QT: .40 sec.
2.
The rhythm is irregular with a rate of 80/min. There are atrial and ventricular pacer spikes present on beats 1, 3, 5, and 7. There are early beats every other beat which have only a ventricular pacer spike. These beats appear to be PACs. If you look at the 8th complex there is a P wave that precedes the QRS complex. The 5th complex has a taller T wave than the other T waves which suggests that a P wave is buried within it.
3.
The rhythm is irregular with a rate of 60/min. The P waves are biphasic. The 4th P waves is nonconducted and has a different morphology than the other P waves. It is followed by two junctional escape beats. PR: .20 sec, QRS: .10 sec, QT: .52 sec
4.
The rhythm is irregular due to the PVCs. The rate is 80/min. The P waves are associated with a QRS complex and are upright. There are unifocal PVCs in a trigeminal pattern. PR: .14 sec, QRS: .08 sec, QT: .40 sec.
5.
The rhythm is regular and the rate is 136/min. Upright P waves precede the QRS complexes. No ectopic beats are noted. PR: .12 sec, QRTs: .06 sec, QT: .28 sec.

Demand pacing with PACs |
3.
Normal sinus rhythm with a dropped premature beat and escape beats |
The rhythm is irregular with a rate of 60/min. The P waves are biphasic. The 4th P waves is nonconducted and has a different morphology than the other P waves. It is followed by two junctional escape beats. PR: .20 sec, QRS: .10 sec, QT: .52 sec
4.
Normal sinus rhythm with ventricular trigeminy |
The rhythm is irregular due to the PVCs. The rate is 80/min. The P waves are associated with a QRS complex and are upright. There are unifocal PVCs in a trigeminal pattern. PR: .14 sec, QRS: .08 sec, QT: .40 sec.

Sinus tachycardia |
The rhythm is regular and the rate is 136/min. Upright P waves precede the QRS complexes. No ectopic beats are noted. PR: .12 sec, QRTs: .06 sec, QT: .28 sec.
Mike,
ReplyDeleteCan I use any of your rhythm strips for educational purposes in the hospital setting? I am a Nurse Educator in Michigan.
Yes, you may use any of the strips. I post them for educational purposes too. They are available to anyone who needs the resources.
