1.
3rd degree heart block
3rd degree heart block.   The rhythm is regular.  There is not one P wave for each QRS.  The atria are beating at different rhythm than the ventricles so there is no relationship between the P waves and the QRS complexes.  If the patient is unstable, what electrical intervention might be indicated?

2.
Ventricular paced rhythm.  The QRS immediately follows the pacer spike so their is 100% capture. The underlying rhythm looks like atrial flutter.

3.
Asystole
Asystole.   There is no electrical activity.  How do you verify asystole on the monitor?

4.
Torsades de Pointe
Torsades de Pointe.  A form of polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.   The rhythm is irregular.  There are no P waves.  The QRS complex amplitude begins small and increases then decreases in amplitude once again.   What is the drug of choice to treat this rhythm.

5.

Fine Ventricular Fibrillation.  The patient is pulseless and apneic.  When using a biphasic defibrillator, what is the initial joule setting used to defibrillate a patient with this rhythm?
